Color Play: Ocean

This color palette has been inspired by that gorgeous body of water we can an ocean. Which ocean? Whichever one makes you the happiest. We took a trip to the Gulf Coast of Florida in March and even though it wasn't warm every day it was beautiful. Just listening to the sounds of the ocean seems to drain away any stress and tension. We saw waves swelling high, dolphins dancing, and adorable birds racing to get the first catch. Our two boys spent hours running in the waves, building sand castles, burying themselves (and us), it truly was an amazing trip.

Your inspiration? oceans, water, beaches, sand, and tranquility.

This week's wordart is all ready, but it needs you to add a bit of something to it. When I think of berries, I think of how they get so juicy and almost burst in your mouth. Then I find my mind wandering over to one of my favorite movies, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... and Violet who turned quite violet as she began to fill with blueberry juice until it appeared that she would burst. From there I think about all of the emotions that could make one feel that they are going to burst. There are so many! You could say:

I'm so full I could BURST

I'm so happy I could BURST

Color Play: Berry Treat

This color palette has been inspired by the beginnings of berries that I've seen forming around my neighborhood. I've lived in my current home for more than eight years and I did not realize until last year that we have mulberry trees in our backyard. I would swear that they had never sprouted (is that the right term?) berries before. Then suddenly there were berries EVERYWHERE. I ended up taking a picture of the trees to post to Facebook because I had never seen a mulberry tree before, in fact I thought they were bushes based upon the song, lol. I had an answer from many friends and even fun recipes to try within moments. It's wonderful how technology works. Unfortunately, before I could pick any of the berries to try those fun recipes the birds had eaten them all. It was crazy how quickly it went frm berries everywhere to nothing left. However, this year I see the beginnings of those berries and I'm determined to get to them before they are gone. Wish me luck, I'll update later if I manage to get any.

It's iNSD Weekend! I still remember my very first iNSD. I was so excited and I had so much fun chatting, playing games, doing challenges, and of course shopping.
